Ely T has been practicing Chinese Medicine for over twenty-five years. Beginning as a shiatsu therapist in 1994 with a focus on Chinese injury medicine, Ely then studied TCM, Classical and Five-Element acupuncture, Toyo Hari, and Si-Yuan Balance Method. She then built a highly successful practice in Arizona, with 6 treatment rooms, 7 staff, and over 100 patient visits a week. Ely has shared her knowledge of, and versatility with myriad aspects of Chinese medicine with hundreds of students.
She is passionate about the holistic, patient-centred approach to care and has developed highly effective strategies that address issues of chronic and acute pain concurrent with depression, anxiety, PTSD, and behavioural health, with a focus on the effects of mental health on the physical body, and physical illness on the psyche. Some conditions that she has helped people with include: acute injuries & trauma, thyroid and autoimmune disorders, cancer treatment side effects, infertility and gynaecological health, aging, musculoskeletal pain & disorders, mental and behavioural health and addictions. Ely has also work with people living with chronic illness for whom medication is not improving quality of life.
